Placed Top 3 in the Nation

Akron’s Bridgestone Tires reached out to the senior designers at The University of Akron, asking for skateboard deck designs. The final design will be featured at the 2020 Winter Olympics in Tokyo and will hang in the USA house for Olympians to view.

The inspiration for this design came from looking at skateboard decks that are covered in a collage of stickers. I made icons representing Tokyo, the USA, Bridgestone, and the Olympics and placed them in a collage on the deck.
