The Miracle Container

I selected a recent article, Environment: The Story of Plastic, and I made an illustration that went along with the story. The article talked about plastic and it’s origin, as well as how it is destroying our planet. The overall concept of the article is “How the plastic bottle went from Miracle Container to Hated Garbage”.

I looked to Googie architecture and design of the mid-century to create this piece. The vintage aesthetic mixed with a modern day idea is how I decided to convey the message of the article.
